Got the signature pasta dish. Excellent quality ingredients and combination. Service was what you would expect from a good place! Ambiance is large steakhouse. A surprise was the wine by the glass. Great quality choice!
Conveniently located near the ATL Airport on the corner of Virginia Ave. & Toffie Terr. We had a long flight layover and a friendly hotel shuttle driver recommended Malone's for an appetizing lunch. As appetizer, we had a cup of 'Baked Potato Soup' and 'Smoked Gouda Cheese Grits'. Definitely the best grits I've ever tasted! As entree, we had their 'Malone's Pasta' and the 'Ultimate Cheeseburger'. Everything tasted amazing with a good presentation. I wish I lived near to enjoy this restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Shout out to our server, 'Ray', who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. The restaurant & bar are both big, clean, and organized. Clean restrooms during our visit. Overall, we had a great lunch experience here and will make sure to visit again when we're back in ATL.
I love Malone's! I went there twice on my business trip. The blackened chicken Alfredo is the best I ordered it twice. The calamari also very tender. The staff is phenomenal especially because our waitress split the bill into 16 different checks because we were all using our corporate cards. Great spot to watch the game as well, although they don't have Amazon prime for the Thursday night football, at least they didn't turn it on that night idk. Can't wait to go back and if my associates don't want to go, I'll go myself!
Great place. The manager and the staff are very accommodating. Food was delicious. I really enjoyed the pecan chicken and the shrimp and grits are excellent.
Definitely a place we love to come to when visiting Atlanta. This time we tried a few new entrees that turned out really well. Started off with wings without the buffalo sauce on it (placed on side) and the stuffed shrimps. Both were delicious and filling. Shortly after we ordered our entrees of Stuffed Flounder (description in picture), Full Rack of Rib (description in picture), and Pecan Crusted Chicken (description in picture). Everything was really fantastic. Ribs were fall off the bone, the crabmeat in the flounder was seasoned well, and pecan chicken was tender. The only thing we had a little complaint about is the dessert. Several times last year, we were told that they had a personal baker that makes the cakes and cheesecake for Malone's only and it was fantastic. We always enjoyed the cake and it was light and scrumptious. Now they only have cheesecakes and no cakes. We normally get the carrot cake (not cheesecake) and it was one of the moistest cakes we have ever had. Lots of cake and less cream with hints of carrot all over. Was the best. So we got the red velvet cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake to partake. Oreo crust and cheesecake filling was amazing. Red velvet was not the same as before. Other than that, it was all great. What I really want to commend is the service. Never had a problem with the service and today we had the best server. He introduced himself as "D-Rick" and provided several entrees and appetizers to recommend. Without hesitation, he was offer with our order. Once we were done with ordering the appetizers, our drinks were served promptly. And without skipping a beat, if we needed a refill, he would already bring a brand new drink saying "I seen you were running low". Totally one of the best servers ever I have encountered. He even had 6 other tables in the area and took care of them as well as he did our table. D-Rick is surely the server to entertain you and provide the best service you can ever have! Will be back again. Until the next time.
I stopped by after picking up a friend from the airport on a Saturday afternoon. My guest and I sat at the bar. I must say, the shrimp and grits were even better once I ate them as leftovers. The grits were kinda thick but as I mentioned, tasted better later. The bartender never served the glass of water I requested until I asked again prior to leaving this establishment. I will add that there was plenty of parking and the restroom was clean.
This one of "go-to" spots when we near the airport, I get the wings of course, she gets the pork chops. And they haven't disappointed us, thus far. The bar tenders are attentive and the food on point.
Wasn't busy but service was extremely slow. But our server did what she could - it seemed as if she was the only server in the entire area, we were at. The blackened shrimp pasta was surprisingly good! Drink wasn't as I anticipated. A little on the sweet side for an old fashion. The cake. Take it Togo. And eat it in bed! The best treat to unwind after a full day of traveling!
